Third Rail iPhone case has detachable battery

We have seen a lot of external battery solutions for the iPhone 4 before. For some reason, the mophie juice pack comes to mind, and, more recently, the Xtreme Mac Incharge Mobile.

This is the Third Rail System, and it follows the model of aforementioned external battery products. That is, it has an exterior shell to put on the iPhone itself, which is the iPhone 4 Slim Case.

What really separates the Third Rail from its…competitors is that the battery is completely removable. The 1250 mAh Smart Battery is there for whenever the user may need a boost. They charge via micro USB, they can be stacked for charging other devices, and they are designed to be compatible with future cases. I’m assuming that the name of The Third Rail comes from that subway rail that I’m told contains all of this electricity.

The Third Rail System external case costs about $90, but the external batteries themselves can be purchased for about $30 a pop.
